Amanda Rico is the owner of Harmony Yoga Haliburton. She is a 400hr registered yoga teacher with the Canadian Yoga Alliance and a Yoga Medicine® Teacher. She is currently working toward her 500hr certification with Yoga Medicine®. She has completed trainings and certifications in Vinyasa, Hatha, Power Yoga, and Yin.
Her clear and direct teaching style combines an understanding of alignment and anatomy to create an atmosphere where challenging movement, awareness, and breath merge to create a balance between effort and ease.
Amanda is an Ashtanga yoga practitioner and brings her dedication and devotion to the practice into all her teachings. She practices and teaches from Ayurvedic principles, keeping in tune with the rhythm of the seasons to offer balance to the mind, body, and spirit. She was brought to yoga by her mother who has been a life long practitioner.
